As Jesus approached the possessed man, the evil spirits in the man said, “Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee,thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. By calling Jesus “the Holy One of God”, they testified that he was the Son of God. Jesus didn’t approve of evil spirits testifying that we was the son of God and said, “Hold thy peace, and come out of him.” The evil spirits were then cast out of the man and he was healed. If we do our best to keep the commandments of God, we strengthen ourselves against having evil spirits possess our bodies.
