Faith is a belief in God and Jesus Christ that gives us direction in life. Faith helps us through the dark and challenging times of life. If we have faith in God, we can pray and come closer to Him. Prayer can give us comfort and help us feel of the love God has for us.

The Bible teaches us that "faith without works is dead" (James 2:17). In other words, if we have faith in God, we also have to follow Him or we really don't have faith.
