Each prophet of God in the Bible received revelation. Is there are need for revelation today? Do we have revelation or are the heavens closed?

As it says in the Bible, "Surely, the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).

Since the beginning of time, the people of the earth have had a need for revelation from God to help guide their lives.

Revelation at Time of Moses

In the time of Moses, when the children of Israel were traveling around in the wilderness, the Lord gave Moses very specific revelation on things he should do and ways they should travel in the wilderness. (See the book of Exodus in the Bible.)

Today—Revelation for Our Own Wilderness

Today, we all have to go through our own spiritual wilderness in a world of shifting values and increasing evils. Wouldn't it be nice to have revelation from God to a prophet to guide us and help us make our way back to him?

Do we have Revelation Today?

God has again opened the heavens and there is revelation to prophets from God to guide us and help us find peace in a world of confusion and challenges. It started with the visitation of God and Jesus Christ to a prophet who restored the church of God that was found in Bible times.
