The Fruits of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-23

As mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

When we hear the teachings of God, when we keep His commandments or perform service or acts of kindness for others, we may feel one or many of the fruits of the Spirit listed above.

When we have those feelings in association with service, keeping the commandments of God or hearing the words of God, it is divine approval that what we are hearing is true or that God is pleased with what we are doing.

The scriptures say that "when a man speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men" (2 Nephi 33:1).
