SatanIs Satan real? Where did Satan come from and why is he trying to make us miserable? How Satan became SatanSatan was a son of God in heaven. Isaiah 14:12 states, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" In the following verses (Isaiah 14:13-15), we see Satan's selfishness and pride as he wanted to elevate himself above God.

How to combat Satan and find peace in lifeFirst of all, simply knowing that Satan exists, helps us have a deeper perspective on life and more of a knowledge of our dependence on God. As we strive to live the commandments of God and trust in Him, He will help deliver us from the temptations of Satan. Ephesians 6:12-18 talks about the battles we have against evil and a recipe to overcome:
Turning to Christ Gives us Strength against SatanJohn 14:6 states, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man ccometh unto the Father, but by me." Through modern scriptures received in 1831, Jesus said, "Behold, and hearken, O ye elders of my church, saith the Lord your God, even Jesus Christ, your advocate, who knoweth the weakness of man and how to succor [help] them who are tempted." As we trust in Jesus, he will help us overcome temptations. Order a Free DVD
