Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, all of us will be resurrected. It is a free gift to everyone on earth. In 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 it states:

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

With death comes the separation of the spirit and the body. Subsequently, with the resurrection, our bodies and spirits are reunited and we become immortal – never to die again. Since Jesus Christ was resurrected and overcame death, every person who has lived on the earth will be resurrected.

On the topic of the resurrection, John 5:29 instructs, "And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

After the resurrection, awaits our final judgment which will determine our state of existence afterwards.
