Judgment DayFinal JudgmentAfter this life, we will all stand before God at judgment day. That knowledge alone should be motivation enough to do the very best we can to live a good life. However, we are mortal and make mistakes. However, since Jesus died for our sins, if we repent, God promises to forget our sins. If we don't repent of our sins, we will "have a bright recollection of all our guilt" as we stand before God at the judgment day. Since there is a final judgment after this life, this life is really "a time to prepare to meet God" (Alma 12:24). Our Final Judgment will Depend on How we Live our LivesRevelation 20:12-13 instructs:
Matthew 16:27 teaches the following:
A prophet from ancient scripture found in the Americas declared, "it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do" (2 Nephi 25:23) After our final judgment, we can be saved in a sphere or degree of glory according to our works.
